July 08, 2013 – Don Valley, Toronto, Ontario.
Heavy rains and thundershowers cause power outages and severe flooding in Toronto. The Don River crests and floods the Don Valley and Don Valley Parkway.

These photos were shot with my cell cam at Dundas St. E and DVP. There was damage to vehicles but luckily no one in this area was hurt. The storm hit during the evening commute stranding thousands of commuters. I made it home safely. ^

The Niagara River flows north from Lake Erie to Lake Ontario. It forms part of the border between the Province of Ontario in Canada and New York State in the United States.
This shot is taken from the scenic Niagara Parkway on Canadian side of the border looking north from Queenston, Ontario. A great view of the United States and Lewiston, NY across the river.

August 2010 | Canoe Trip, Algonquin Provincial Park | Ontario, Canada

Paddling across lilly filled flat water lakes, portaging, hiking, occupying Algonquin with our little yellow canoe. Wildlife sightings! A Great Gray Owl, Moose; mother and calf, Beaver, Blue Heron, Common Loon, a wolf howls…
